Amanda’s Home Help is an independent, family run, domestic home help business, based in the small village of Grimston, on the edge of the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

A study carried out, in 2004, suggested there was a large population of elderly and retired citizens, within the Grimston, Congham, Roydon, Pott Row and Hillington area. Further research highlighted a potential market for a privately run, domestic home help, service which could support these individuals, thus allowing them to remain in the comfort of their own homes, for as long as possible.

Amanda’s Home Help was founded, in the Autumn, of the same year, by Amanda Barrett.
